FRANK E. ROLLINS

Frank E. Rollins, 59, a retired Plymouth County farmer, died Tuesday at his home here after a sickness of several years.

Mrs. Rollins was born February 25, 1895, a Battle Creek, Ia. He married Miss Edna Berner, February 23, 1920, in Sioux City. After residing in Battle Creek and Sioux City farm communities, he came to Plymouth County in 1918. The family farmed in this community until 1945, when they moved to LeMars.

Survivors in addition to the widow are: a son, Virgil, residing in California; a daughter, Miss Carol Rollins of LeMars; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Loraditch and Mrs. Ralph Berner of Sioux City; a brother, Alva Rollins of Westfield; and two grandchildren, Linda Lee and Kathy Jo Rollins.

Military funeral services were held Thursday, May 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mauer fumeral home in LeMars with Rev. K.I. Clawson officiating. Burial was in the LeMars City Cemetery under direction of Mauers.

Deceased was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church in LeMars and Wasmer Post American Legion and a veteran of World War I. He was also a member of the Elks Club.
