MOURN LOSS OF BABY

The angel of death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bagley on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 5, and took their infant daughter, Shirley Joan. Shirley was born at Hinton, Iowa, February 3, 1933, and passed away after a very brief illness at the Lutheran hospital in Sioux City, at the age of 9 months and two days.

Besides her parents she leaves to mourn her departure, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bornholtz, of Hinton; Mr. and Mrs. James Bagley, of Newcastle, Nebr.; her great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Woolsey, of Atlantic, Ia., who were sponsors at her christening; four uncles, George and Lester Bornholtz of Hinton, and Arol and Darryl Bagley of Newcastle, Nebr.; three aunts, Phyllis and Midge Bagley of Newcastle, and June Bornholtz of Hinton, and many other relatives.

“Into each life some rain must fall
Some days must be dark and dreary.”

The funeral service was held at 2:00 Wednesday afternoon from the Melbourne
Evangelical church, Rev. L.J.U. Smay the pastor officiating. Burial was made in the Melbourne Cemetery directed by the White Funeral Home of Merrill.

Pallbearers were Dorothy and Kathryn Brown, Edith Harrison, and Betty Jauer.
