Funeral services for Dr. Phillip I. Eyres, 62, dentist at Traer, Iowa, who died Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack at his home was held this Tuesday at the Presbyterian church at Traer.

Dr. Eyres was born Aug. 25, 1902, in LeMars. He married Marguerite Clatfelter March 27, 1917. He has practiced dentistry in Traer for many years.

Survivors are the widow; a son, Stanley, of California; two daughters, Susanne, a senior at the State University of Iowa, and Patricia, a freshman at the State University of Iowa; three brothers, Calvin of Kingsley, Dr. T.E. Eyres of Vermillion, S.D., Roderick Eyres of LeMars; four sisters, Mrs. Ed (Agnes) Held of Hinton; Mrs. Helen Wilson, Harriet Eyres and Ethel Eyres, all of Washington D.C., and many nieces and nephews.
