MARY E. BARNES

Word has been received here of the death of Mary E. Barnes, 89, Long Beach and former Hinton resident, on Friday, Dec. 3, 1982.

Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist church, Long Beach. Rev. Merle Bailey and Long Beach #173 OES officiated. Internment was private.

She moved to Long Beach in 1923 and had been a member of the First United Methodist church for 52 years. Past matron and 49 year member of Long Beach Chapter #173 OES and member of Nazareth Shrine #8.

Survivors are three sons, Roy, Glenn and Earl; 10 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, in 1960 and a son, Fred, in 1980.
