EARLY RESIDENT TAKEN BY DEATH

August Blecker, well known resident of Plymouth County, passed away March 29, at Santa Ana, Calif., at the age of 63 years. Mr. Blecker had been in poor health for the past few years and had been confined to his bed since last August. Burial was in Fairhaven cemetery at Santa Ana.

August Blecker was born in Ponca, Neb., and came to Plymouth County with his parents when six years of age, and made his home here until 1922, when with Mrs. Blecker he retired from farming and moved to California.

Mr. Blecker was married to Frances Kehrberg, of Plymouth County, who preceded him in death in February 1932. Survivors include two children, Milton C. Blecker of Merrill and Mrs. John H. Turton of Santa Ana, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Philip Koenig, of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. G.F. Spies, of Merrill, and Miss Christena Blecker of LeMars; one brother, Henry Blecker, of Toronto, S.D.

Two sisters, Mrs. Geo. Bender of Hinton, and Miss Anna Blecker of LeMars preceded him in death.
