OLD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
After a lingering illness with Brights disease Albert Perry Robbins, resident of Woodbury and Plymouth counties for 61 years, died at his home four miles east of Hinton, Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 1928, at the age of 61 years and nearly five months.
Mr. Robbins was born near Correctionville, Iowa, June 27, 1867, on the farm where his father, Henry Robbins, established a homestead in 1866.
Mr. Robbins was united in marriage with Laura B. Haggin, September 12, 1890, and they moved to Plymouth County where he engaged in farming and continued in that occupation for the past 38 years.
He had been in failing health for the last six years, but his condition was not considered serious until the last few months.
Besides the widow, Laura Robbins, the deceased is survived by: three sons, Reuben of Sioux City; Wright and Albert of Hinton; four daughters, Mrs. Evaleane Comeau of South Sioux City; Mrs. Bessie Schultz of Hinton; Mrs. Leone Shippy of Sioux City; and Mrs. Florence Hartman of Merrill; one sister, six brothers, and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the family home Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock, Rev. J.L. Shroyer of the Methodist church at Hinton, and Rev. L. Wood of the Stanton Evangelical church officiated.
Interment was in Goodhope cemetery four miles north of Correctionville, Iowa.
