MRS. G. REKO
Mrs. George Reko, 52, of Rockwell City, formerly of Hinton, died at her home Monday (June 11, 1979) of a long illness.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Christian Church, Lake City, with Rev. Chris Nettles officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Creek cemetery under the direction of the Huffman Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Reko, the former Shirley Tibbetts, was born Oct. 31, 1926, at Dakota, Minn.
She was married March 3, 1946, at Dakota. She lived in Hinton from August 1966 until July 1976 when they moved to Rockwell City.
Survivors are her husband; a son David of Rockwell City; a daughter, Mrs. John (Susan) Leonard of Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Vera Peterson of Janesville, Wis., Mrs. Helen Aiken of LaCrosse, Wis., Mrs. Betty Groff of Big Lake, Minn., and Mrs. Ruth Fox of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Geo. Held, Don Arndt, LeRoy LaBahn, Harold LaBahn from Hinton and Stanley Birch and Leo French from Cleghorn.
