AKRON, Iowa -- Delores "Lori" Neunaber, 59, of Sioux Falls, S.D., formerly of Akron, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at her residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will be in Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. and a Christian wake service at 7 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.
Lori was born April 18, 1944, in Akron, to Rich and Marie (Meinen) Frerichs. She was united in marriage to Marv Neunaber on Feb. 8, 1964, in Akron. Following their marriage, they moved to Sioux Falls. She graduated from Stewarts School of Hairstyling and managed several shops in Sioux Falls. She also was an instructor. The last 24 years she worked in the Radiology Department of Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
She enjoyed quilting, making crafts and spending time with her family, including her two grandchildren. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Marv of Sioux Falls; a son and his wife, Brad and Shannon and granddaughters, Taylor and Payton, all of Beatrice, Neb.; a daughter, Paige of Lafayette, Colo.; two sisters, Eleanor (Lowell) Nall of Aberdeen, S.D., and Mary Lou Adamson of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Robert (Sharon) Frerichs of Akron, and Dick (Becky) Frerichs of Sioux Falls; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special group of neighborhood friends.
