F. F. WATSON BURIED AT PEARSON

D.S. Twogood went to Pierson, Iowa, Tuesday, Oct. 14, to attend the funeral of his brother-in-law, F. F. Watson.

Mr. Watson, a former resident of the Pierson community, died Oct. 11, at Glidden, Iowa, where funeral services were held October 14, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Becker, pastor of the Glidden Presbyterian church officiating. Graveside services were held in the Pierson cemetery.

Festus F. Watson was born March 9, 1875, near Pierson. On April 17, 1903, he married to Dott Twogood. They lived at Pierson several years and operated a restaurant and confection store in several Northwest Iowa towns including Rock Rapids and Sibley and in 1924 moved to Fort Dodge. In 1931 they went to Glidden where they spent their remaining years. Mrs. Watson passed away in 1946.
