BARTHEL RUBA OF REMSEN DIES;
FUNERAL RITES WILL BE FRIDAY

Barthel N. Ruba, 54, of Remsen, a lifetime resident of Plymouth County, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1952, at the Sacred Heart hospital. He had been in poor health for the last seven years.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Remsen. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home.

Mr. Ruba was born May 12, 1898, at Remsen. He married Miss Agnes Rolfes in Remsen Jan. 20, 1927.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Barthel Jr., at home; a daughter, Mrs. Vernon DeRaad of LeMars; and three grandchildren.
