REMSEN, Iowa -- Lynette Kay Kluver, 47, of Remsen died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at Happy Siesta Health Care Center in Remsen.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen, with the Rev. Robert Eggers officiating. Burial will be in Remsen City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the church. Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen is in charge of arrangements.

Lynette was born May 30, 1955, in Le Mars, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Della (Sonnichsen) Kluver. She was raised in the Remsen area and was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Remsen. She received her education at Remsen-Union School, from which she graduated in 1973. She then moved to Sioux City where she worked at various jobs.

In 1991 she moved back to Remsen where she was employed at L & J Restaurant and Nelson's Family Restaurant, and for a short while at Happy Siesta Health Care Center. She had been a resident of Happy Siesta Health Care Center since May 29, 2002.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She liked to knit, crochet, cook, do jigsaw puzzles and being with her friends.

Survivors include her parents, Herman and Della of Remsen; three brothers, Ronald of Yakima, Wash., Dennis and his wife, Mary Jo of Sioux City, and Jim of Monett, Mo.; two sisters, Dianna Kluver of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Bonita and her husband, Rocky Dunkelberger of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three nephews, Jason and Marcus Kluver and Dylan Dunkelberger; four nieces, Jessica and Jenny Kluver and Deidre and Drew Dunkelberger; and a great-nephew, Keton Kluver Alexander.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Hans and Anna Sonnichsen, and her paternal grandparents, Dick and Anna Kluver.

Pallbearers will be Jason and Marcus Kluver, David Sonnichsen, Kurtis Kroeger, Terry Maass and Tony Heisterkamp.
