OCCUPATION: She attended school and graduated from Lockport (Ill.) High School. She was employed by Illinois Bell, Caterpillar and Appliance Wiring in Joliet, Ill. When she married they were living in Joliet, Ill., until 1993 when they moved to Akron, IA.
MEMBER OF: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rockdale, Illinois, where she taught fifth grade CCD for many years. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Club. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court St. Theresa. She was a member of the lady’s Elk of Illinois Lodge 296, American Legion Auxiliary, Caterpillar Retiree Club, and the Akron Senior Citizen Center.
SURVIVORS: …include her husband; five daughters and their husbands, Aimee Beth and Allen “Artie” Tracz of Holiday Island, Ark., Michelle Lee and Jonathan Moeller of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Renee Lynne and Eric Quanbeck of Sioux Falls, Suzanne Marie and Luis Solorio of Westmont, Ill., and Doree Jean and Bradley Budzinski of Plainfield, Ill.; four grandchildren; two brothers; several brother and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Another full obituary:Dorothy M. Welch, 67, of Akron, Iowa, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2000 due to injuries from a car accident.
Services were 10:30 Monday, June 26, 2000 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron with the Monsignor Richard Zenk officiating. Honorary casket bearers were Allen Tracz, Jonathan Moeller, Eric Quanbeck, Luis Solorio, Bradley Budzinski, and Dennis Welch. Burial was at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Akron. Organist was Jeannie Frerichs.
Mrs. Welch was born January 25, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Howard and Dorothy (Pottoff) Weiler. She attended school and graduated from Lockport, IL High School. Mrs. Welch was employed
by IL. Bell, Caterpillar and Appliance Wiring in the Joliet area. She married James Welch Feb 7,1953 in Joliet, IL where they lived until 1993 before they moved to Akron. She was a member of St. Joseph's
