OCCUPATION: He farmed for several years and moved to Akron in 1948. He also worked for Hartmann Brothers Service for 23 years prior to his retirement.
MEMBER OF: Mrs. Wise was a 36-year member of the Akron Fire Department and served as chief for several years. He was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, serving the church after his retirement.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a daughter and her husband, Karen and William Nostadt of Schwenksville, Pa.; two sons, Kenneth and Edward both of Akron; two grandchildren; three sisters, Eleanor and her husband, Wilbert Brown and Dorothy Stevens, all of Avoca, and Mary Klindt of Harlan, and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; his stepmother, Rose Wise; three sisters, Margaret Wise Allen, Mildred Wise Hayhurst, and Katherine Wise Kohlscheen.
