OCCUPATION: He graduated from Akron High School in 1961 and later attended Western Iowa Tech Community College. He worked for Load King in Elk Point, S.D., for many years as a maintenance electrician until his disability retirement.
MEMBER OF: St. Patrick’s Catholic church, where he was a member of the choir. He enjoyed oil painting, model trains, photography, hunting, and building and flying model airplanes. He donated many items to the new airplane museum at Sioux City.
SURVIVORS: …include his mother, Mabel, of Schwenksville, Pa.; a brother Edward of Akron; a sister and her husband, Karen and William Nostadt of Schwenksville; and a niece and nephew.
