SURVIVORS: …include four sons, Henry “Tom” of Marietta, Okla., Jim and his wife, April, of Hinton, Clyde and his wife, Jean of Bronson, Iowa, and Leon and his wife, Cathy of Wayne, Neb.; nine daughters, Ruth “Henrietta” Gotch and Virginia and her husband, Jack Fickle, all of Waterbury, Neb., Rita and her husband Don Nolan of Phoenix, Ariz., Betty and her husband, Gene Monasco of Burleson, Texas, Martha and her husband Harvey Jenkens of Sioux City, Carlene and her husband, Dan Afdahl of Sioux Falls, S.D., Dixie and her husband Frank Rich of Malvern, Iowa, Nina and her husband, Ed Rohan of Bronson, and Candy and her husband Dennis Ragan of Moville, Iowa; a brother and his wife, Ed and LaNeal Pierce of Las Vegas, N.M.; a sister, Katherine Buettner of Rogers, Ark.; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a daughter, Kathryn Rosenbaum; three grandsons; a brother, Herman Pierce; and two sisters, Versie Lonsberry and Bertha Holtz.
