KINGSLEY, Iowa -- Bruce R. Sheeler, 77, of Kingsley died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Akron Care Center in Akron, Iowa.

Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley, with the Rev. Robert Blair officiating. Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday, with the family present 3 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.

Bruce was born April 25, 1925, in Kingsley, the son of Glen and Vera (Pultz) Sheeler. He grew up in the Kingsley area. He entered Akron Care Center in 1992.

He survived by many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Betty.
