MRS. GEORGE PEW
Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Pew, who was found dead, apparently from a heart attack, at her home at 530 1st Ave. S.E. here Friday, were at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Methodist church here. Rev. R.V. Gildner officiated. Burial was in LeMars City cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mrs. Pew, the former Norma Blume, was a Sioux City native and longtime LeMars resident. She was the widow of George V. Pew, who operated a garage and implement shop here before his death in 1946. Mrs. Pew was a member of the First Methodist church here and of the LeMars chapter, O.E.S.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Gurney Day, Portland, Ore.; a son, Frederick Pew, Detroit, Mich.; and four grandchildren.
