GEORGE H. BUNT

George Henry Bunt of 439 – 2nd Ave. N.E. in LeMars passed away at his home on March 10 following a sickness of 2 ½ months.

Mr. Bunt was born September 1, 1886, in LeMars. He lived in LeMars until 1917 when he moved to near Tripp, South Dakota. He lived there until 1931 when he and his family returned to LeMars.

Maude Elizabeth Nicholson and George Henry Bunt were married on November 16, 1911, in LeMars.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 12, 1953, at 2:30 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home. Burial was in the city cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Maude; four sons, Clinton George Bunt of Granville, Leslie Thomas Bunt of LeMars, Wallace Edwin Bunt, a missionary in India, Clifford Errol Bunt of Chicago, Illinois; a daughter, Mrs. (Avis) Max Davidawicz of Chicago, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas R. Bunt, of Hartley, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a half sister.
