BIBIANA DE ROCHER
A number from here attended the funeral service for Bibiana DeRocher which was held Tuesday at 9 o’clock in the Ellendale Catholic church west of Merrill, Ia., Rev. Fr. Forrester officiating. Burial was in the Ellendale cemetery.
Bibiana DeRocher was injured September 16 when she jumped off the street car to get her lunch box from her grandmother which she had forgotten. Grayson Sloan of this township, was passing the street car as it was standing still at the end of the car line, swerved to the right but in jumping off, she ran into the door of his car cutting her arm on the door handle. She was at once taken to the St. Vincent hospital where her arm was sewed up. Later lock jaw developed and serum was given, but she died Sunday.
