MRS. JOSEPH BAUERLY
Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph G. Bauerly, 83, of Sioux City, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Msgr. Frank J. Brady officiated. Graveside services were held at Ellendale cemetery. The Rev. James Bruch officiated.
The former Luella Barnett was born June 22, 1894, at Sutherland, Iowa. She moved to Merrill as a child. She was married to Mr. Bauerly in May of 1913 at Merrill. They farmed near Merrill until 1944 when they moved to Sioux City. He died in February 1962. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include five sons, Maynard and Robert, both of Sioux City, Vernon and Donald, both of Sergeant Bluff, and Francis of Pierz, Minn.; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Neva Taylor of Des Moines; and a brother, Glen Barnett of Cherokee, Iowa.
