FUNERAL RITES HELD MONDAY FOR A. PAUL
Andrew Paul, 30 [sic 78], First Ave. NW, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, at the Zimmerman Home after an illness of five weeks.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Dec. 1, at 2 o’clock at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Frank G. Patterson conducting the services. Burial was in the LeMars cemetery.
Andrew Monroe Paul was born March 2, 1874, in Pennsylvania. He lived in Grant township many years before moving to Lake City. He was married June 26, 1933, to Florence Malings at Elk Point, S.D. They moved to LeMars 12 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Order Zerubbabel, Lodge No. 240, A.F.&A.M., Lake City.
Survivors besides his wife is a son, Clarence of Des Moines, and a daughter, Mrs. Emma Middleton of Seattle, Wash. Also a brother Edgar of Baltimore, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife.
Mauer’s funeral home was in charge of the services.
