EMMA KOCH

Miss Emma L. Koch passed away at a nursing home in Spirit Lake, Iowa, on July 10, 1956, following a sickness of several years. She was a retired school teacher and lived at the Methodist camp at Spirit Lake.

Miss Koch was born February 25, 1871, at Clayton County, Iowa. She lived in the LeMars vicinity until about 25 years ago, when she moved to Spirit Lake. She was 85 years of age.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 12, at the Methodist church in Spirit Lake with burial in the LeMars city cemetery. Harpole funeral home in Spirit Lake was in charge of arrangements assisted by the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.
