JAMES FOLEY

AKRON, Iowa—James Foley, 90, of Akron, died Nov. 27, 1974, in the Akron hospital of a brief illness. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 30, in St. Joseph Catholic Church at Ellendale. The Rev. Robert McClintock will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Nov. 29, in the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron.

Mr. Foley was born Sept. 14, 1884, near Akron. He was employed at a garage in Akron, and later moved to a farm near Eagle Lake, Minn. He married Ida Ostrom on Feb. 10, 1923, in Minneapolis, Minn. Mrs. Foley died in 1958.

Survivors include four sons, Donald of Eagle Lake, Minn., Robert, Gordon and Richard all of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Corrine) Young of Newcastle, Wyo.; and 13 grandchildren.
