RUEBEN HINES

Reuben H. Hines, 75, Akron, Iowa, died Jan. 21, at a LeMars nursing home after a long illness. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24, at the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. The Rev. Ralph Burdette will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 24, 1897, in Plymouth County, and was a farmer and trucker in the Akron area most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II. He married Gladys Morehead Dec. 25, 1922, at LeMars. She died in 1942.

Survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Anna Oemig of South Sioux City, Mrs. Hannah Mundt of Wagner, S.D., Mrs. Everett Orr of Merrill, and Mrs. Lillian Stinton of LeMars.
