Juan Pablo Zermeno, 29, of Kingsley, was taken into the Lord's hands, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident.

Juan was born Oct. 7, 1979, in Mexico, the son of Pedro and Sofia (Mendoza) Zermeno. On June 14, 2003, he married Tiffany Boggs in South Sioux City, Neb. They renewed their wedding vows June 23, 2007 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kingsley.

Juan received his Permanent Residency in December 2007, and was extremely excited to begin study for his citizenship in the United States. He worked at Advance Brands in Orange City, and attended night classes at WITCC in Sioux City.

Juan was a very devoted husband and father. He enjoyed playing golf with his father-in-law, and was the #1 son-in-law. Juan's family and friends were an important part of his life. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kingsley.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Tiffany, and a baby daughter, Esmeralda of Kingsley; his parents, Pedro and Sofia Zermeno of Mexico; four brothers and four sisters; his father and mother-in-law, Gary and Kitty Boggs of Kingsley; six sisters-in-law; five brothers --in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kingsley, with the Rev. Mark Stoll officiating. Burial will be at Arlington Township Cemetery in Moville. Visitation begins after 3 p.m. today (Friday) at St. Michael's Catholic in Kingsley, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., and a Scripture wake service at 7 p.m. all at the church.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Rohde Funeral Home in Kingsley.
