MRS. E. F. CAREY
Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Carey, 72, wife of longtime LeMars coach E. F. Carey, will be Monday, Dec. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James church with Rev. George McFadden officiating.
Burial will be in the Wilno, Minn., Catholic cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home, LeMars.
Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Carey died unexpectedly Thursday morning (Dec. 7, 1972) at her home at 109 First Ave. NW after suffering an apparent heart attack.
The former Josephine C. Fransco, she was born July 4, 1900, at Ivanhoe, Minn., the daughter of the late Martin and Pauline Fransco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
Survivors are her husband, E. F. Carey of LeMars; a sister, Mrs. Joe (Hedwig) Barth of Ivanhoe; and a brother, Dr. Pete Fransco of Ruthton.
