MRS. ALICE DWYER
Mrs. Alice Dwyer, 90, who resided at 218 Central Ave. NE in LeMars, died Tuesday (Aug. 1, 1972) at Floyd Valley Hospital. She entered the hospital June 19.
Alice Brace was born July 12, 1882, in LeMars and was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County except for a period when she and her husband operated a restaurant at Colome, S.D. Her parents were Thomas and Mary Carpenter Brace.
Her marriage to William Dwyer took place May 3, 1910, in Sioux City.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic church in LeMars with Rev. John Turza officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.
Survivors are a nephew Richard Hoffman of Snohomish, Wash., and a niece, Mrs. Russell Heyl, Omaha.
Mrs. Dwyer was a member of St. James church in LeMars.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters and two brothers.
