Jerry Sherlock, 73, of Jefferson and a Le Mars native, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, in Jefferson.

He is survived by his son, Kevin (Tammy Hale) of Scranton; daughters, Beth De Moss and Sue Sherlock (Kenny Hostetler), all of Jefferson; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four brothers, Alfred "Sonny" of Le Mars, Ray (Zelda) of Merrill, Cyril "Cy" (Phyllis) of California, LeRoy (Claudette) of Jefferson; eight sisters, Helen Rolling (Mark), Rosie Kurth (Paul), Doris Rolfes, Loretta "Tiny" Hoss, Mary Fulton (Bob), Esther Schrader (Tom) and Norine Harvey (Keith), all of Le Mars, and Julie McElhany (Jim), of Sioux City.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jefferson. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson, with the famiy present from 6 to 8 p.m.
