TEACHER DIESMiss Minnie Mills, 64, of Sioux City, a lifelong resident of Kingsley, died Tuesday afternoon at her home, of a heart attack. She was a school teacher for many years.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church in Kingsley. Burial was in the Moville cemetery.
She was born Jan. 17, 1888, at Kingsley. She studied at Morningside and Iowa State Teacher’s college before she began teaching.
She taught at New Hampton, Ida Grove, Lawton and Kingsley. She retired three years ago because of illness and moved to Sioux City in 1950.
Surviving are two sisters and two brothers: Miss Maude Mills, of Sioux City, and Mrs. Ed Conley of Anthon; Warren and Glen Mills, both of Kingsley.
