CECIL MC GRUDER

Funeral services for Cecil McGruder, 75, longtime resident of this vicinity who died Tuesday after a year’s sickness in his home at 34 1st Ave. N.E. will be held Saturday, December 26, at 9 o’clock at St. James Catholic Church.

Mr. McGruder was born January 14, 1877, at Attica, Iowa, and came to Union township in 1895. There he took up farming until coming to LeMars in 1928, where he has since resided.

Burial will be under the direction of the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home. The rosary will be recited Friday evening at 8 o’clock.

Survivors include his widow, Laura, and one son, Lloyd, of Tracy, California.
