CAUSE OF DEATH: …after suffering an apparent heart attack at home.

OCCUPATION: He was a truck drive for many years, his most recent employer being Weinrich Truck Lines in Hinton until he was injured in a truck accident in July 1999. He was currently taking classes at Western Iowa Tech Community College in Sioux City to become an electronics telecommunications engineer.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a son, Nick; a daughter, Sarah; two stepdaughters, Lyndsi Rai and Malori Kai Price; and two stepsons, Ethan and Ausin Price, all of LeMars; a brother, William “Bill” Singer of Garden City, Ind.; four sisters, Mary K. and her husband, Henry “Hank” Rieken of Merrill, Peg and her husband, Darrell Hageman of Hinton, Sandy and her husband, Leo Ludwigs, of LeMars, and Linda Randall of Gulfport, Miss.; his mother-in-law, Joan Vondrak of LeMars; and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …parents; a brother, Guy Singer in infancy; a brother-in-law, Bob Randall; and his father-in-law, Eldon J. Vondrak.
