Committal service for the ashes of Margaret Clarke Bixby, who died last winter at Renton, Wash., were held Sunday (May 21, 1978) at Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

Rev. Gary Frahm, Sioux City, read the Episcopal burial service. Arrangements were by Mauer’s funeral home.

Mrs. Bixby was a native of Le Mars and a member of an early day family. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. G.A.C. Clarke.

Surviving are a son, six daughters, and a sister, Mildred Clarke, Minneapolis, who attended the service in Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Bixby.
