Lynn Bunch, 73, longtime Le Mars resident, died Saturday (Jan. 10, 1981) at the Plymouth county home after an extended illness.

Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Assembly of God church, Le Mars. Rev. Kenneth Lundeen will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.

Mr. Bunch was born March 24, 1907, in Woodbury county to John S. and Vanessie Smith Bunch. He was a veteran of World War 2 where he served in the United States navy. He was a retired mechanic.

His marriage to Iva Squibb took place Aug. 2, 1961, in South Sioux City, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Margaret Brennan who died in 1958, and by his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Iva, Le Mars; a son, Lynn Bunch, Sioux City, and a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Margie) Renshaw, Omaha; eight stepsons, Russell Squibb, Le Mars; Raymond Squibb, Scranton, Wash.; Ronald Squibb, Sioux City; Verl Squibb, Montices, Wis.; Dean Squibb, Indianapolis; Jim Squibb, Coon Rapids, and Bob Rogers and Patrick Mackey, both of Sioux City.

There are six surviving stepdaughters, Mrs. Gloria Beckner and Mrs. Roy (Marsha) Beldin, both of Le Mars; Norma Squibb and Mrs. Janice Barnes, both of Fort Madison; Gertrude Squibb of Fort Dodge, and Alice Squibb, Scranton.
