HENRY KROLL DIED IN LE MARS HOSPITAL

Henry R. Kroll, 70, passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, in a LeMars hospital. Mr. Kroll was born July 29, 1884, at Charter Oak, Iowa, and had farmed in southwest Plymouth county the past 13 years. Retiring from farming two years ago, he had been employed at the Plymouth County Home, where his wife, Alma, is a bedfast patient.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ben of Hinton and Leonard of Sioux City; four grandchildren, Gary, Dennis, Barbara, and Roma; six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, Nov. 27, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Leeds with the Rev. John Deterding, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Luken funeral home of LeMars and the Kroll Funeral Home of Storm Lake, Iowa, the latter being a nephew of the deceased.
