OCCUPATION: He worked for Wincharger Corp. from 1946 to 1950. He then was a fireman with the Sioux City Fire Department until 1959. The couple then moved to O’Neill, Neb., where he owned and operated a bowling alley. In 1967, they returned to Sioux City, where he worked for Dynatechnology in Quality Control, retiring in 1977.
SURVIVORS: …including his wife; two sons and their wives, Steven and Kathy Petersen of Sioux City and David and Anne Petersen of Cushing, Iowa; three daughters and their husbands, Karen and Ben Pickett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Marilyn and Larry Minarik of Tarzana, Calif., and Connie and John Loffswold of Sioux City; a son-in-law, Charles Hale of Polk City, Iowa; a brother and wife, Clarence and Edna Petersen of Sioux City; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; an infant son, Danny; a daughter, JoAnn Hale; a grandson, Kirk Petersen, and a great grandson, Zachary Anderson.
