Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Welch, 82, who died Monday at an Akron hospita1, were at 9 a. m. on Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic church in Akron.
Rev. J. G. Shakhill officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Welch was born June 30, 1873, in Plymouth county and had lived in the Westfield community most of her life. Her husband died in 1925.
Survivors arc two daughters. Mrs. Carl Tobin of Westfield and Mrs. Darrell Taylor of Akron: five sons, William of Sioux Falls; John of Lake Andes, S. D.: Matthew of Elk Point, S. D.: Joe of Homer. Nebr.: and Mike of Westfield: 36 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The rosary was recited at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Rossow funeral home, which was in charge of arrangements.
