OCCUPATION: Mr. Pavlik taught at Hinton Community School from 1955 to 1956, at Union-Whitten Community Schools from 1957 to 1962, at Jefferson Community Schools from 1962 to 1978, and at Russell Community Schools from 1979 to 1987. Mr. Pavlik served in the Iowa Army National Guard during World War II.
SURVIVORS: …include two daughters, Sandy and her husband Bill Stearns of Knoxville, Iowa, and Shari Beth of Chesapeake, Wash.; two sons and their wives, Scott and Lisa of Toms River, N.J., and Shawn and Laura of LeMars; five grandchildren; two brothers, Vincent and his wife Shirley, and George, all of LeMars; and several nieces and nephews.
