OCCUPATION: The couple farmed in the Seney and Merrill areas. She moved to LeMars in 1954 and did domestic work. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers. Mr. Parkinson died Dec. 31, 1993.
SURVIVORS: …include three daughters, Patricia and her husband, LeRoy Borchers of LeMars, Cheri Vanness of Norfolk, Neb., and Judy and her husband, Gary Berkenpas of LeMars; a brother, Donald Howes of Hope, Idaho; two sisters, Lucille Howes of Los Angeles, and Dorothy Stenens of Van Nuys, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a grandson, Dean, and two brothers, Arnold and Orville.
