Norman D. Siebens, 79

Norman Darrell Siebens of Sequim, WA passed away Saturday, Feb. 17 of age-related
causes.
Services were held Thursday, Feb. 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Sequim. Pastor Gisela
Taber officiated.
Norman was born May 2, 1927 the son of Sieben Esdert and Nellis Mae (Adams) Siebens of Akron.
Norman served in the Army in Japan from 1946 to 1947.
Norman and Marilyn Corrine Sequin were united in marriage Sept. 6, 1948 in Iowa.
He farmed in Akron before moving to Port Angeles and was a shareholder in PenPly from 1960
to 1967. He then farmed in Sequim from 1967 until his retirement.
Norman served on several farm related boards including Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service, Dungeness Irrigation Co. Inc., and Clallam Co-op. He enjoyed salmon fi shing, restoring John Deere tractors and antique cars.
He belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church, Sequim Valley Car Club and Friends of the
Fields.
Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Patricia Siebens, a daughter,
Laura Siebens; sisters-in-law Helen Anderson of Thousand Oaks, CA, Anita s of Jupiter, FL and Bette Siebens of Port Angeles and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Marie; a son, Michael Howard and a brother, Rodney Siebens.
