MRS. FRED UTECH

LE MARS, Iowa—Mrs. Fred Utech, 88, LeMars, died Saturday at her home after a sudden illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Presbyterian United Church of Christ. The Rev. Ralph Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in the LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Utech, the former Katharine Gross, was born April 4, 1889, in LeMars. She was married June 25, 1935, in LeMars. She was a partner in the K&L Gross Needle Shop for many years.

Her husband died in March, 1963.

Survivors include a sister, Miss Lena, of LeMars.
