Walter G. Grebner, 77, Dies At Colorado Home

MERRILL Special: Relatives in Merrill received word last Friday of the death of Walter G. Grebner, 77, of 2234 Osceola St., Denver, Colo. He passed away unexpectedly Jan. 12, at his home.

Walter Grebner was born in Johnson township March 4, 1890. He married Pearl I. Burrill of Stanton township March 27, 1912. They farmed in Johnson township until about 1923 when they moved to Colorado.

Survivors are his wife; a son Ronald of Arcata, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Will (Eunice) Webber of Denver; three granddaughters and two great granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Hammond of Merrill and Mrs. Lizzie Tindall of Akron and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and a sister. Memorial services were held Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Mrs. Lizzie Tindall, of Akron and her daughter, Mrs. William Feuerhelm of Merrill went by plane to Denver to attend the services.
