Bud Harrison

KINGSLEY, Iowa -- Bud Harrison, 84, of Kingsley passed away Friday, April 15, 2005, at Holy Spirit Retirement Home following a lengthy illness.

Per his wishes, he was cremated. Visitation with the family present will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.

Bud was born Dec. 31, 1920, in rural Kingsley to Bert and Rosetta (Galusha) Harrison. He attended Lawton School.

On Oct. 24, 1943, he married Madonna Adele Keene. He farmed all his life and had also worked at Swift's and Sioux Tools.

Survivors include his wife, Madonna; his children, Eugene Rex, Cathie Adele and grandson, Chase Pipkins, Judy Lynn, Madonna Marie and her husband, Stanley Griffith and grandchildren, Kristina and Jay Patrick Griffith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lillian Hansen; and brothers, Merlin, Bert and Willard.
