MOVILLE, Iowa -- Alice F. Haggin, 83, of Moville died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Kingsley Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingsley, Iowa.

Private family services will be held Monday. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery in Moville. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., at Rohde-Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Alice was born Dec. 14, 1920, in rural Moville, the daughter of Dominic and Martha Kisting of rural Moville, Banner Township and grew up in the Moville area.

She married Arthur "Buzz" Haggin on Jan. 31, 1940. After their marriage, they made their home in Moville. Alice worked in the lunchroom at Woodbury Central School for several years and volunteered at the Senior Citizen Center in Moville after retiring from the school.

Alice enjoyed crafts with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking trips with her friends.

Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Diane and Kenneth Gene Fenton of Audubon, Iowa, Barbara and Larry Smith of Moville and Beverly and Michael Pansa of Murchison, Texas; a son and his wife, Arthur "Butch" and Jeanine Haggin of Kingsley; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Kisting of Washington, D.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur "Buzz"; a brother, Charley Kisting; and three sisters, Lottie Bowers, Leona Yates and Gladys Collins.
