Ruby Woolworth Foote, 84, of Riverside, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, in Riverside.

Services will be held at Rubidaux Funeral Home in Riverside. Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery.

Ruby was born Oct. 19, 1917, near James, Iowa. She attended country school and graduated from Hinton (Iowa) High School.

She married Fred Foote on Jan. 28, 1939. The family moved to California in the summer of 1963. Fred died Nov. 23, 1986.

She is survived by her eight children, Fred Foote and his wife, Kathy of Fountain Valley, Calif., Joan and her husband, Paul Starlings of Temecula, Calif., Colleen Foote of Sun City, Calif., Connie and her husband, Bob Clark of Riverside, Calif., Jimmy Foote and his wife, Debby Sun City, Jeannie and her husband, Ed Dugger of Temecula, Clark Foote and his wife, Terry of Garden Grove, Calif., and Patricia Berge of Reno, Nev.; 35 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Betty Woolworth of Washington, and Evelyn Woolworth of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leslie Woolworth; and seven brothers, Everett Ball and Vet, Glen, Roy, Lawrence, Lee and Howard Woolworth; and two sisters, Laura Hansen and Mable Henshaw.
