PARENTS: son of Jack and Mae (Plendl) Kessenich
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Dorothy Gollhofer, Aug. 24, 1960, Kingsley, Iowa.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. After marriage, the couple farmed in the LeMars area for several years, until moving into LeMars in 1979. He was employed as a truck driver with Franzen Trucking in LeMars for a few years, then with LeMars Hatchery and Feed Inc.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; a son Mike and his special friend, Colleen Jordan, both of LeMars; a daughter and her husband, Connie and Tim Tietz of Sioux City; five grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Stanley and Rosalene and John and Lois, all of LeMars; three sisters and their husbands, Margie and Cletus Schiltz of Remsen, Iowa, Phyllis and Lyle Schroeder of Granville, Iowa, and Mary Ellen and Leo Stessman of Omaha, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.
