MRS. LOUIS LEMKE

Mrs. Louis (Leona Clara) Lemke, 70, lifelong Merrill and Plymouth County resident, died Saturday (March 15, 1980) at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars after a long illness. She had been hospitalized 15 days.

Leona Clara Albright was born March 3, 1910, in Plymouth county to John and Anna Ruedy Albright. She married Louis Lemke Nov. 11, 1929, at Dakota City, Neb. She was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church at Merrill.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Merrill. Rev. Harold Norheim will officiate and burial will be in Merrill Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in LeMars.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors are her husband, Louis, Merrill; two sons, Leland of rural Merrill and Louis W. Lemke, Sibley; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Sharron) Hanke, LeMars; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Leonard Albright, rural Merrill, and Glenn Albright, The Dells, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
