AGNES WYNIA
Agnes Wynia, 92, lifelong LeMars resident, died Feb. 21, 1976, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center where she had lived the last four years.
She was born Feb. 24, 1883, in LeMars, to Popa and Johanna Baker Wynia. She had kept house for her brother, Albert, for many years.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on her birthday, Feb. 24, Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Rodney Degner of the Assemby of God Church in LeMars will officiate and burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.
Survivors are a grandson, Tom Wilson, of Detroit, and four granddaughters, Mrs. Frank (Peggy) Horbach of Oxford, Ohio; Pam Wilson, Patti Wilson and Penny Wilson, all of San Francisco. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
