OCCUPATION: She graduated from Westmar College in LeMars in 1969. The couple moved to Fenton, Iowa. She taught at West Bend, Iowa, until 1977, when they moved to Pocahontas. She taught business and Spanish at Havelock-Plover, Gilmore City-Bradgate, and Twin River Valley schools in Iowa. She was currently teaching at Laurens-Marathon Schools in Iowa.
SURVIVORS: include her husband; five daughters; two grandchildren; and a sister and her husband, Janelle and James Fisher of Moville, Iowa.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: her parents; and a brother, Jerry Ashmore.
