DOUGLAS DREESZEN

BERESFORD, S.D.—Douglas Dreeszen, 53, of Beresford died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Sioux Valley Hospice in Sioux Falls.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford. Burial of the cremains will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8 p.m. at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford.

Mr. Dreeszen was born July 7, 1946, in Akron, Iowa, the son of Roy and Catherine Dreeszen. He graduated from Akron High School in 1964.

He married Darlene Johnson on Oct. 18, 1975, at Vermillion, S.D.

Since 1978 he has worked in a variety of positions, including sales, for CMI-Load King in Elk Point, S.D. In March of 1997, he moved to Beresford.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Chad and his wife, Roxanne, and Wade, all of Sioux City; a daughter, Darcie of Beresford; three grandchildren; three brothers, Herb of Sioux Falls, Ronald of Akron, and Mark of Jackson, Neb.; and his mother of Westfield, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Larry Dreeszen.
