Daryled D. Hoffman, 62, of Westfield, died unexpectedly Friday, April 27, 1990, at his home.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Akron, with Monsignor Gerald Lyons officiating. Burial followed in the Westfield Public Cemetery. Arrangements were completed by the Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron.

Mr. Hoffman was born Aug. 23, 1927, at Akron, son of Basil and Gladys (Campbell) Hoffman. He married Helen Leone Lias Dec. 15, 1945, at Elk Point, S.D. He was a truck driver for 35 years, being in business for himself for several years, as well as working for Liquid Carriers and Ruan Transportation, retiring in 1982.

He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Suzette) Leuenhagen of Blaine, Minn., Mrs. David (Roseann) Moffatt of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. Jerry (Deniece) Banks of Jefferson, S.D.; a son, Marlin, of Sioux City; his mother, Gladys Hoffman Beaubien of Westfield; a former daughter-in-law, Debby Hoffman of Sioux City; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father, Basil.
